THE BEACHES
Lagos has some of the most beautiful beaches in southern Portugal. Four beautiful beaches are only a few minutes walk from the city.
The beach of Meia Praia is the largest in the region and consists of a vast stretch of sand stretching over 3 km long. The beaches Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Pinhão are splendid beaches that allow their visitors to bathe in clear water like rock water, while being surrounded by beautiful sandstone cliffs. The surf beaches of Sagres are only a short bus ride from Lagos and can be visited during a day trip.
